The service station has <br /> % ._ been abandoned and the dispenser islands have been removed from <br /> the site. The abandoned station building remains at the site. <br /> Development in the area consists primarily of commercial <br /> buildings with some single- and multi-family residences. An <br /> orchard is located directly across Yosemite Avenue south of the <br /> site. The site is at an approximate elevation of 39 feet above <br /> mean sea level (U.S. Geological Survey Topographic Map of the <br /> Manteca, California, 7.5-Minute Quadrangle) . <br /> Four underground gasoline-storage tanks were located east of she <br /> abandoned station building,.
