The following were <br /> observed in the maintenance shop: <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with used paper oil filters observed with no accumulation start date. Operator corrected on site, <br /> by using most recent disposal receipt to fill in accumulation start date. <br /> The following were observed in the 500-gallon oil tank shed: <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with used antifreeze observed with no physical state, hazardous properties, and accumulation <br /> start date. Operator corrected on site,filling in physical state and hazardous properties and accumulation start date. <br /> The following were observed outside in the 9000-gallon diesel tank area: <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with waste solids contaminated with diesel observed with no accumulation start date. Operator <br /> corrected on site by using disposal receipt to find accumulation start date. <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with unknown contents observed with blank hazardous waste label, lacking generator name <br /> and address, physical state, contents, accumulation start date, and hazardous properties. <br /> Note: 9000-gallon diesel tank is rented out to a third party company. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 8-26-2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
