<br /> 1.Samples of batch discharges must be taken an analyzed at least once between January and May and once between July and November.
<br /> 2.Samples must be taken an analyzed at each batch discharge.
<br /> 3.Samples of continuous discharge must be taken an analyzed at least once between January and May and once between July and November.
<br /> B. The City must be notified and re-sampling is required within 24 hours of noticing any slug load, spill or effluent
<br /> violations to the sewer system. The results from re-sampling must be submitted to the City of Lodi within 30 days of
<br /> the slug load, spill or effluent violation.
<br /> C. All handling and preservation of collected samples and laboratory analyses of samples shall be performed in
<br /> accordance with 40 CFR Part 136 and amendments thereto by a State certified laboratory unless specified otherwise
<br /> in the monitoring conditions of the permit.
<br /> PART 3-NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
<br /> A. The permittee may allow any bypass to occur which does not cause Pretreatment Standards or Discharge
<br /> Requirements to be violated, but only if it also is for essential maintenance to assure efficient operation. These
<br /> bypasses are not subject to the provisions of(B)and(D)of this section.
<br /> B. If the permittee knows in advance of the need for a bypass, it shall submit prior notice to the City, if possible at
<br /> least ten days before the date of the bypass.
<br /> C. The permittee shall provide telephone notification of an unanticipated bypass that exceeds applicable Pretreatment
<br /> Standards to the City within 24 hours from the time the permittee becomes aware of the bypass. A written
<br /> submission shall also be provided within 5 days of the time the permittee becomes aware of the bypass. The written
<br /> submission shall contain a description of the bypass and its cause; the duration of the bypass, including exact dates
<br /> and times, and, if the bypass has not been corrected, the anticipated time it is expected to continue; and steps taken
<br /> or planned to reduce, eliminate, and prevent reoccurrence of the bypass. The City may waive the written report on a
<br /> case-by-case basis if the telephone notification has been received within 24 hours.
<br /> D. Intentional diversion of wastestreams from any portion of the permittee's treatment facility, bypass, is prohibited,
<br /> and the City may take enforcement action against the permittee for a bypass, unless;
<br /> 1. Bypass was unavoidable to prevent loss of life, personal injury, or severe property damage;
