Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />May 06, 2019 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 35200 S CHRISMAN RD, Tracy <br /> Facility Name: <br /> SIERRA GOLF MANAGEMENT <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />One black 55 gallon container of used oil observed with mixture of paper used oil filters and metal used oil filters. <br />Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as “drained used oil <br />filters,” and marked with an accumulation start date. <br />The operator segregated the paper and metal filters into two separate containers during the inspection. <br />Drained metal oil filters must be shipped off site and recycled within one year of generation. Paper oil filters and used <br />oil are hazardous waste and must be shipped off site within 180 days of generation. <br />Since it is unknown how long the filters have been onsite, please provide a recycling record for the container of drained <br />used metal oil filters. Also provide hazardous waste disposal records for the container of paper used oil filters and <br />used oil. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on May 6th, 2019. The report was amended by the <br />EHD. The amended report replaces the initial report. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the amended inspection report. <br />The following changes were made: <br />- Violation 110 and 113 omitted from inspection report since no hazardous waste was disposed since 2015. <br />- Violation 301 amended to include the following "- one black 55 gallon container of used metal and paper oil filters <br />observed with used oil build up on lid. - one black and red 55 gallon of used oil observed with used oil on lid of <br />container." <br />- Violation 601 amended to include the following statement: "-one blue 5 gallon bucket of used paper filters <br />observed with no hazardous waste label. -one black 5 gallon bucket of used absorbent observed with no <br />hazardous waste label." this was moved from violation 605. <br />- Violation 605 amended to omit the statement "Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, <br />immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br />dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD.
