If you wish to install the pod directly over the top of the tank,follow the tank manufacturer's guidelines for backfilling the tank and place a minimum 5"thick layer of compacted soil or sand on top of the tank in order to get the required slope on the filtrate return line. IMPORTANT. Because of tank buoyancy issues, if you do install the AdvanTex pod directly over the tank conduct a thorough buoyancy analysis. Step 4b: AdvanTex pods come standard with predrilled fiberglass tabs on the bottom comers and a set of antiflotation flanges.The antiflotation flanges help prevent the pod from "floating out"of the ground under saturated soil conditions. The antiflotation flanges come with stainless steel bolts for attachment to the predrilled fiberglass tabs.With the flanges in ` position under the pod,mark and drill 17/64" diameter holes in the flanges to line up with the predrilled holes in the tabs.Use the 1/420 x 1.25 bolts and nuts provided to attach the flanges to the tabs.
