Meters have been installed and are being maintained to monitor effl <br /> uent at outlet <br /> valves to measure amounts of effluent being discharged into the series of <br /> Seepage pits were added to the plant and the systems are altern <br /> basis between the old and new pits There are a series of three valves aerators, <br /> distribute effluent through the valves to a sequence of!each fields. The leach field <br /> aton a routine <br /> distribution is switched on a routine basis. which <br /> 5. Minimal odors were detected at the waste water treatment plant and around the plant <br /> perimeter. Currently, the tanks are pumped of solids on a routine basis and the facility <br /> Proposes to flush main lines on a quarterly basis to prevent build-up of grease, <br /> particles, and other sediments that can potentially block the system. <br /> 6. A Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, or a Certified Distribution Operator(C 0), <br /> certified by the State of California Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is <br /> currently contracted with the facility. The EHD currently lists Casey A. Wichert, <br /> Certificate Number V-9433 as the CDO for this facility. A copy of the certification is one <br /> file with the EHD. <br /> 7. For the permitting year 2010, analytical testing and reporting to the Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD), is required as part of a condition of the operating permit. <br /> This facility is directed under Waste Discharge Requirement from the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB)to test for constituents including the items listed <br /> below. Quarterly monitoring reports are received and reviewed by the EHD on a regular <br /> basis. <br /> TKN Included Nitrates and Ammonia <br /> BOD Biological Oxygen Demand <br /> TSS Total Suspended Solids <br /> pH <br /> CBOD Carbonaceous Biological Oxygen Demand <br /> The sewage treatment plant appears to be operational and is being maintained within <br /> the San Joaquin County Onsite Waste Water Disposal Standards. Continue to operate <br /> and maintain efficiently.
