Tretheway Rd., Lockeford, CA
Permit I.D.: PT0000073— Segal Family Trust DTD
Record I.D.: PR0420066
The first routine bi-annual inspection was conducted at the waste water treatment plant
on April 13, 2009 by the Environmental Health Department (EHD) staff. The following
was observed and noted upon inspection:
1. This is the first of two bi-annual inspections. Recent activity at the plant has
initiated concern regarding the existing sewage disposal system and the recent
over-flowing of all tanks. This incident has required the tanks to be pumped
more than three times per week commencing in February 2009. Pumping of the
facility took place on the following dates; 2123109, 2125109, 2127109, 312109,
314109, 316/09, 319109,3111109, 3113109, 3116109, 3118109, 3/20/09, 3123109,
3127109, 3130109 and the most recent record provided is 4/1109.The current status
of the pumping has been reduced to once per week. Records from Windmill
Septic Service have confirmed the frequency of the pumping and are on file with
the EHD. The existing sewage disposal field installed under Permit Number 71-
598 depicts a total of nine seepage pits installed adjacent and north east of the
M.C. Nottingham Company system which include a HA-25 - 10,000 tank with a
B-1500 header.
2. Due to the recent overflowing, a water line can be seen where the water was
standing. A motor for the pumps was compromised due to the likelihood that it
may have been partially submerged. The motor platform should be raised to
mitigate future potential problems and should be protected from the elements.
The pump is set to run approximately four times throughout a twenty-four (24)
day.
