DemoIitinn activities were performed by Wendt Construction of Lodi, <br /> California. A Geoltrategies Inc. (GSI) geologist was present on site to observe <br /> the UGST removal, and to obtain soil samples from the tank excavations, <br /> piping trenches, hydraulic lifts, oil-water separator excavation, grease trap <br /> excavation and soil stockpiles. The soil sampling and analysis described in this <br /> report were performed between June 20 and July 22, 1991, to comply with <br /> current State of California Regional Water Quality Control Board and San <br /> k Joaquin County Department of Public Health Services guidelines. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is presently occupied by a Chevron Service Station. The former UGST <br /> ?j complex was located west of the service islands (Plate 2) and consisted of one <br /> 5000-gallon and two 10,000-gallon steel UGSTs. The 5000-gallon tank contained <br /> regular leaded gasoline and the two 10,000-gallons tanks contained regular <br /> unleaded and supreme unleaded gasoline. In addition, a 1000-gallon waste oil <br /> tank, 15-gallon hydraulic fluid tank, a grease trap and an oil-water separator <br /> were removed.
