An excavator bucket was used to collect soil for each sample location. The samples were collected by removing the top few inches of soil, then pushing in a sample tube until completely filled. The soil samples were then sealed, labeled and handled as described above. i Soil samples CW-1 and CW-2 were collected approximately 8 feet below grade at the bottom of the waste oil tank excavation. An excavator bucket was used to collect soil for each sample. Trench Sampling Three trench samples designated CT-1, CT-2 and CT-3 were collected at a i depth of approximately 4.5 feet below grade (Plate 3). These samples were collected by hand augering to the desired depth and then using a drive sampler to collect the samples. The samples were then sealed, labeled and handled as described above. Soil sample CWT-1 was collected under the waste oil piping at depth of approximately 5 feet below grade. Lift_Samples Soil samples CL-1 through CL-4 were collected at the bottom of the hydraulic lift locations at approximate depths ranging between 8 and 9 feet below grade (Plate 3). Soil sample CLT-1 was collected at the bottom of the hydraulic fluid tank excavation at a depth of approximately 7 feet below grade. All of the lift samples were collected with a hand driven sampler. Grease Trap and Oil-Water Separator Sapjin; Soil sample CGT-1 was collected below the grease trap at a depth of approximately 2 feet below grade. Soil sample CW-3 was collected below the oil-water separator at a depth of approximately 5.5 feet below grade (Plate 3). These samples were collected with a drive sampler. i 728601-1
