The <br /> topographic surface is nearly flat with a slight westward slope. Based on regional maps <br /> prepared from 1988 groundwater data by San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water <br /> ® Conservation District, ground water near the site is approximately 25 below grade and the <br /> regional direction of flow is to the southwest. Local groundwater characteristics could vary <br /> from these historical maps at the time of drilling. <br /> The site is in the Eastern San Joaquin County Ground-Water Basin (California Department <br /> of Water Resources, 1980). The groundwater basin has been intensively developed for <br /> irrigation, domestic, industrial, municipal, and stock use. <br /> PROXIMITY OF WELLS AND UTILITIES <br /> It is our understanding from City of Manteca personnel that the city provides water and <br /> sewer service for the site. There are no city water or sewer lines Arithin the boundaries of <br /> the site,and there are no septic tanks or leachfields near the site.
