SAN JOAOUIN <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br />Frozen Food Express, Inc. 2728 Boeing Way, Stockton August 27, 2019 <br />OBSERVATION: The facility did not have any disposal records for oily debris. According to Josh Broome, <br />Mechanic, the waste was disposed of as non -hazardous waste with the drained metal oil filters. The facility <br />started to separate the oily debris and treat it as hazardous waste. <br />REGULATION: A business operator shall keep records of any hazardous waste determinations made in <br />accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 66262.11 for at least three years from <br />the date that the waste was last sent to an on-site or off-site treatment, storage, or disposal facility. The records <br />may include Safety Data Sheets (SDS), waste test results or other hazardous waste determination <br />documentation. <br />NO CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED. <br />OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area, one black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily debris <br />(3/4 full) was open and not in use. The container was properly closed during the inspection. <br />REGULATION: All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing <br />waste. <br />NO CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED. <br />OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area: <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily debris (3/4 full) was missing a hazardous waste label. <br />-Two blue 55 gallon steel drums containing used oil (both over 1/z full) were observed with a hazardous waste <br />label missing the hazardous property and had an incorrect accumulation start date of 8/13/2018. <br />The drums were properly labeled during the inspection. <br />REGULATION: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />NO CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED. <br />OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area, one black 55 gallon steel drum containing drained oil <br />filters was missing a hazardous waste label and was open while not in use.
