Your submitted request does not have sufficient information for <br />EHD approval at this time. The following information is needed: <br />Holding tank may be approved for existing developments on parcels which can no longer support an onsite <br />wastewater treatment system (OWTS) disposal field. See attached OWTS Section 10. The holding tank is <br />only approved if the existing developments has an existing permitted OWTS. According to EHD records, <br />there are two OWTS and one holding tank for above parcel. The holding tank is at houseboat #1. <br />Please submit site plan that is drawn to scale and shows the location of all existing OWTS and the proposed <br />one. The site plan must include the distance from the proposed OWTS to all water wells and all bodies of <br />water. <br />2. If the proposed holding tank is intended to replace an existing permitted OWTS, please identity on the plan <br />the permitted OWTS (septic system) intended to be replaced and provide the justification for replacing the <br />septic system with the holding tank. <br />3. According to Notice and Order to Abate, dated January 31, 2019, Corrective Action #3 states, "Submit an <br />engineer -designed sewage disposal (wastewater holding) system for EHD approval." See attached <br />Grindstone Joes NAI. The engineer -designed OWTS must contain all information listed in OWTS Standards <br />Section 7.1. See attached OWTS Section 7. <br />Please submit 2 copies of the complete design plans that has all information listed in OWTS Standards <br />Section 7.1. The design plans shall be stamped and signed by a registered civil engineer. <br />4. For a proposed holding tank, the design plan shall also include information listed in OWTS Standards Section <br />10.1 to 10.8. <br />5. The plan review fee is $304. Please submit the above information, Service Request and fee to EHD. A <br />service request form is attached. <br />The above-mentioned location may be located in the flood way. The septic system in flood way is prohibited according <br />to San Joaquin County Department of Public Works, Flood and Water Resources Division.
