K Grindstone Joe Association
S Flood Determination & Impacts
San Joaquin County
April 7, 2020
characteristics to determine their likely impact upon the area hydraulics (e.g. flood elevation). These numbers are
presented below.
'Approximate project location (demolition + installation) is 100 feet by 50 feet resulting in 8 twenty-five
foot grid cells in the worst case modeling scenario. The worst case was assumed where the minimum
number of cells was used to cover the area of the project impacts, thus minimizing the total flood
volume being included.
Based upon the above negative net and percent change, reduction in flow impedance is shown. KSN would expect
an insignificant reduction in flood stages or flood surcharges should this project be permitted.
We appreciate the SJC EHD's and PWD's consideration of this information and we will be assisting the
Association in making application to the SJC EHD for construction of the new holding tank system.
