Sensor Sensitivity Adjustment

1. Start with the sensitivity at minimum by turning the potentiometer to full counter
clockwise position.
2. Select target object with the least reflective surface.
3. Place target object in front of sensor. When object is detected a red light on the back of
the sensor will go on.
4. Increase the sensitivity by turning the potentiometer clockwise until the target object is
detected and the output status changes.

MAINTENANCE
Note. Disconnect power before cleaning!
• Remove the outer housing by removing the two hex bolts, then using the two handles
on the side of the outer housing; pull up until outer housing comes off the carriage
frame.
• Once outer housing has been removed proceed to remove front panel. Clean stainless
steel with soap water using a soft, clean cloth periodically as required. Clean the inside
of the unit at least once a month. Never use harsh abrasive, use only non-abrasive
scouring pads when required.
