The remedial <br /> action plan describes the proposed remedy for soil and groundwater contamination at Frank's <br /> One Stop,2072 Yosemite Avenue in Manteca. The plan was written by the consulting firm <br /> Aqua Science Engineers and is dated August 3, 2001. <br /> The California Health and Safety Code in section 2728 (Public Participation)requires that the <br /> public shall be informed of proposed activities in corrective action plans, and that the plan be <br /> made available to the public for inspection upon request. A copy of the plan may be viewed at <br /> our offices at 304 East Weber, third floor, in Stockton. A copy has also been placed on reserve at <br /> the Manteca library, located at 320 West Center Street. The plan will be available for comment <br /> for 30 days. <br /> Please note that the plan only addresses the cleanup of soil and groundwater. It does not address <br /> the issue of providing alternate water supplies for residents whose wells have been impacted by <br /> methyl tertiary butyl ether(MtBE).
