SEP 0 9 2020 <br /> • Wear steel toe shoes when working around stacked wood QAalf) MENTAL HEALTH�l�. tNl[:NT <br /> • Wash your hands after work completion. <br /> • Whenever possible, perforin sawing, sanding, and machining treated wood outdoors. <br /> • Use protective goggles when sawing to avoid particles from entering the eyes. <br /> • Be sure to wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking, and toileting after handling <br /> treated wood. <br /> • Wash clothes separately from other laundry. <br /> The following procedures for storage and shipment of Treated Wood Waste(TWW) must be <br /> followed by each employee. <br /> 1. Keeping TWW segregated from other Materials. <br /> 2. Store TWW off the ground by placing it on non treated blocks, on concrete surfaces, or in <br /> containers. <br /> 3. Movement of large quantities of TWW can be facilitated by bailing and or palletizing <br /> TWW, which must also prevent ground contact. <br /> 4. Do not store TWW beyond the allowed limits (90 days—blocked, 180 days—concrete <br /> surfaces , 1 year—container). <br /> 5. Cover TWW during inclement weather to prevent rain water from leaching chemicals out of <br /> the TWW. <br /> 6. Accumulate the waste away from public access to prevent scavenging. <br /> 7. TWW must be segregated from mixing with other waste. <br />
