When cutting treated wood, a barrier such a plastic tarp or visqueen must be placed on the <br /> ground to capture all the sawdust. The sawdust is now considered TWW. The sawdust is to <br /> be placed in a container with a lid on it, labeled in the manner in the example below. It <br /> should be disposed of in a shipment along with solid TWW to an approved landfill facility. <br /> 9. When on a jobsite, the employee in charge must label the container in the same manner <br /> as if it were at H&H Engineering Construction Inc.'s facility. <br /> 10. Label all TWW bundle/shipments with the following information: <br /> TREATED WOOD WASTE (TWW)—Do not burn or scavenge. <br /> Name: H&H Engineering Construction Inc. <br /> Address: 212 Industrial Drive Stockton CA. 95206 <br /> Accumulation Date: This would be the first date TWW was first accumulated <br /> 11. H&H Engineering Construction Inc. will keep records for three years to demonstrate that <br /> TWW was properly managed. Records should include: (1) name and address of the TWW <br /> facility to which the TWW was sent; (2) estimated weight of TWW, or the weight of the <br /> TWW as measured by the receiving TWW facility; and (3) date of the shipment of TWW. <br /> 11. H&H Engineering Construction Inc. will notify DTSC when it generates more than <br /> 10,000 lbs of TWW per calendar year. The following information must be submitted: (1) <br /> H&H Engineering Construction Inc.'s mailing address; (2) H&H Engineering Construction <br /> Inc's EPA Number; (3) name and telephone number of the TWW contact person; (4) address <br /> or physical location of the TWW management activities; (5) date H&H Engineering <br /> Construction Inc. exceeded the 10,000 pound limit; and (6) a statement indicating that the <br /> H&H Engineering Construction Inc. is generating more than 10,000 pounds of TWW per <br /> calendar year. <br /> 12. Arrange for shipment to a TWW facility. Disposal is allowed at a class 1 hazardous waste <br /> landfill or a qualified solid waste landfill. See the listings attached to this document for <br /> information on facilities which have been authorized to accept TWW. Contact the TWW <br /> facility to obtain current costs as they may be adjusted based upon volume. <br />
