Tracy Plant ("Owens") <br /> August 10 ,2020; RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection <br /> Dear Mr. Alaniz: <br /> This letter provides our response to the alleged violations from the RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste <br /> Generator Inspection Report, dated August 10, 2020, and received by Owens via email on August 10, 2020. <br /> Below are the numbered items in your email, and Owens' response to each. <br /> RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Item#102 CCR 66262.11 Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> Two oily rags were found in the trash cans, they should have been properly disposed in the labeled hazardous <br /> waste drum. <br /> Owens Response to Item #102: <br /> The rags were immediately transferred to the drums and the EHD notes on the inspection report <br /> indicate the violation was corrected on-site and no further action is needed. <br /> Item #104 HSC 25244.19, 25244.21 Failed to adequately complete a Source Reduction plan and have it <br /> available for review. <br /> The facility's current Source Reduction plan for 2018 did not have technical and financial certifications. <br /> Owens Response to Item #104: <br /> The Source Reduction plan has been signed. (see appendix) <br />
