Receiver facilities may employ one or several of these <br /> application alternatives at any given time. <br /> Ash will not be beneficially used as an agricultural soil amendment (fertilizer additive <br /> or agent subject to California Department of Food and Agriculture requirements) or on <br /> any residentially zoned property. <br /> 6.1 SOIL STABILIZATION <br /> Due to the physical and pozzolanic properties of Ash, it often makes a good soil <br /> stabilizer, especially in both clay and sandy soils. When using Ash for soil stabilization, <br /> the Ash must be kept moist to prevent fugitive dust from developing at the stabilization <br /> site. Ash may be used as a soil stabilizer or to improve grade for commercial/industrial <br /> buildings, equipment pads, road construction, and dairy and cattle corral/feedlot <br /> construction/maintenance. <br /> 15 <br />
