LOCATION PROCEDURE NUMBER <br /> DTE STOCKTON, LLC EAP-01 <br /> WEStockton, LLC EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN REV: 10, updated: 3/2018 <br /> STATUS: FINAL Page 6 of 35 <br /> 1.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE <br /> The purpose of this Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is to establish procedures for DTE <br /> Stockton, LLC (DTE Stockton) and it's employees to safely and effectively manage <br /> emergency events that may occur at the DTE Stockton electric power generating facility. <br /> This EAP was developed in accordance with the requirements established in California <br /> Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3220,Emergency Action Plan; and includes <br /> procedures for the following elements: <br /> • Reporting fires, medical emergencies, severe weather, bomb threats & suspicious <br /> packages, explosions, workplace violence, chemical releases and other <br /> emergencies, <br /> • A system to alert and notify employees of an emergency, <br /> • Evacuation and emergency escape routes, <br /> • Employees who remain to operate critical plant operations before they evacuate, <br /> • Accounting of all employees after an emergency evacuation is completed, <br /> • Rescue and medical duties for those employees who are able to perform them, and <br /> • Names or regular job titles of persons or departments who can be contacted for <br /> further information or explanation of duties under the EAP. <br /> The EAP is reviewed and updated as-needed and when there are significant changes to <br /> staff or procedures described in this plan. <br /> 2.0 POLICY <br /> Pre-planning for events that may be life-threatening or cause serious injury is essential to <br /> ensuring the safety of DTE Stockton plant personnel during emergency events. <br /> 3.0 DEFINITIONS <br /> Emergency: an unplanned event that has the potential to cause or result in death, injury <br /> or property damage. <br /> 4.0 REFERENCES <br /> California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3220,Emergency Action Plan. <br /> DTE Stockton—CALARP Risk Management Plan. <br /> Emergency Action Plan—DTE Stockton, LLC <br />
