LOCATION PROCEDURE NUMBER <br /> DTE STOCKTON, LLC EAP-01 <br /> WEStockton, LLC EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN REV: 10, updated: 3/2018 <br /> STATUS: FINAL Page 9 of 35 <br /> 7.0 REPORTING EMERGENCIES <br /> 7.1 General Procedures: <br /> It is the responsibility of the Plant Manager or his designee if he is off site during <br /> the emergency (hereinafter referred to solely as the plant manager) to assess a <br /> developing emergency situation and initiate the appropriate actions in this plan to <br /> protect personnel,the surrounding community from injury. In the event of an <br /> emergency, the Plant Manager or Alternate will be notified immediately, and then <br /> will call 911 immediately, if warranted. Control Room: 209-320-3712 <br /> 8.0 EMPLOYEE ALARM SYSTEMS <br /> The plant audible alarm system for this facility provides warning so that employees can <br /> escape safely from the workplace or the immediate work area. If the Plant Manager <br /> determines that an evacuation is necessary, he/she shall ensure that a sounding of the <br /> plant evacuation alarm is initiated. The alarm will be sounded for a continuous 30-second <br /> period. If an evacuation has been directed and following the sounding of the plant alarm, <br /> the Plant Manager shall ensure that instructions for evacuation are communicated to <br /> personnel over the plant 2-way radio system and or the public address system. <br /> If the alarm is for anhydrous ammonia release, plant personnel shall notify the first <br /> responders specifically that anhydrous ammonia was released. <br /> Appendix A contains the Administrative Instruction(AI) for sounding the alarm and <br /> using the public address system. <br /> Emergency Action Plan—DTE Stockton, LLC <br />
