She stated that on 06/28/20 at around 7:30 pm a lady driving a small SUV lost control and drove
through the front of the store. Car stopped at the front counter(cashier station/beverage station). They immediately called
their insurance and company finally sent the adjustor today.A contractor is coming on Monday to clean up/remove debris and
start repairs. Repairs will consist of a new restaurant front and a new front service counter.
Observation: Manager showed me video of accident. There is wood, metal, shattered glass and fiberglass in a large pile on
floor close to entrance. Front counter is leaning. Loose materials from the accident are kept away from food and from were
employees may be injured. It is my opinion that these materials shall not be removed by the employees but by a licensed
contractor.
Correction:Repairs shall be conducted on a timely manner. Once repairs are completed call this department.A remodel
inspection might take place since front counter and toe kick(coved base tiles)would have to be replaced.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title: Candance Peterson, manager
EH Specialist: MARIBEL FLOHRSCHUTZ Phone: (209)953-7817
FA0002607 C00052203 SCO04 07/09/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
