STOCKTON August 06, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION:The following open hazardous waste storage containers,which were missing one or both closure <br /> latches,were observed on-site in the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> 1.A leaking Aerosols&Flammable Liquids Hazardous Waste container,which Stephanie Ella, an assistant store <br /> manager, placed inside another container,which was then poperly closed. <br /> 2.Three Toxics Hazardous Waste container <br /> 3.A Corrosive Bases Hazardous Waste container <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage,except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste.
