The containers <br /> were: <br /> 1.Two Aerosols&Flammable Liquids Hazardous Waste containers storing aerosols and flammable liquids,were <br /> missing the name of the generator on the label. <br /> 2. Two Toxics Hazardous Waste containers storing cosmetics, lotions, and other toxic waste,was missing the name <br /> of the generator and the physical state on the label. <br /> 3. A Corrosive Acids Hazardous Waste container storing a pet carpet cleaner and a stainless steel cleaner,was <br /> missing the name of the generator and the physical state on the label. <br /> 4. A Corrosive Bases Hazardous Waste container storing an adhesive remover,wax stripper, a stainless steel <br /> cleaner, and a jewelry cleaner,was missing the name of the generator and the physical state on the label. <br /> 5. An Oxidizers Hazardous Waste container storing an"ice melt'and a body scrub,was missing the name of the <br /> generator,t he physical state, and the accumulation start date on the label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents),accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 9/5/2020 . <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
