American St., Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> 610. A 55 gallon steel drum of drained used filters was observed in the yard without an accumulation <br /> start date. Used filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil and <br /> gasoline filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. The label was corrected at the time of <br /> inspection. Ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (108) <br /> 108. Metal fines generated from metal grinding are being recycled as scrap metal without first <br /> determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if <br /> the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling metal fines, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for the grinding waste, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a <br /> hazardous waste.
