Importantly,this Po <br /> response will correct a fundamental misunderstanding regarding operations at the Cooks <br /> Collision,Inc. location at 2830 Auto Plaza Way,Tracy, California 95304 ("Cooks <br /> Collision"). Cooks Collision does not treat hazardous waste and does not dispose of <br /> paint cups or cans in the municipal trash. Paint cups and cans collected in the mixing 3 <br /> room are either utilized during operations and are not waste, or are emptied and removed <br /> by a waste hauler or recycler. Please find my supplemental responses to Items Nos. 102, l <br /> 103,202,204,and 601,below. <br /> Item No. 102: CCR 66262.11, 66262.40(c). Failed to determine if a waste is a <br /> hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 years. No waste analysis was <br /> available for leftover paint waste in plastic containers from the spray guns. This waste is <br /> being disposed of as non-hazardous waste. A generator shall make a hazardous waste <br /> determination and keep a record of any test results, waste analyses, or other <br /> determinations made in accordance with hazardous waste regulations for at least three <br /> years from the date that the waste was last disposed of. Immediately locate a copy of the <br /> waste analysis conducted for the leftover paint waste and submit a copy to the EHD. If a u <br /> copy is unavailable, immediately make a hazardous waste determination and begin F <br /> i <br /> 1 <br />
