Stored Hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> 1-55g drum of water based paint waste had what appeared to be a start date of 9/2/2013, <br /> 1-55g drum of solvent paint waste had an illegible label, and a 55g drum of bondo dust <br /> did not have a start accumulation date. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of <br /> hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time <br /> may store waste on site tip to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the <br /> EHD. Class II violation. <br /> Response to Item No. 601: <br /> Cooks Collision has improved the condition of the labels on all hazardous waste <br /> accumulation containers and placed them in protective plastic sleeves to ensure legibility. <br /> Accumulation start dates are more legible and reflect accumulation times less than 180 <br /> days. Cooks Collision has a contract with Safety-Kleen Systems,Inc., a waste hauler,to <br /> transport and properly dispose of all hazardous waste. Attachment B,provides the <br /> December 11,2014, and December 24,2014,Uniform Waste Manifests indicating that <br /> Safety-Kleen collected all bondo dust waste and paint wastes from the facility. <br /> Supplemental Response to Item No. 601: <br /> Enclosed as Attachments S-1,S-2,S-4 and S-6 are uniform waste manifests indicating ! <br /> disposal of wastes within the permitted accumulation times. Waste is transported by a <br /> waste hauler to a permitted TSDF. <br /> Item No. 605: CCR 66262.340. Failed to completely label containers or tanks of <br /> hazardous waste. 1-55g drum of water based paint waste label was faded and illegible, <br /> 1-55g drum of solvent paint waste was covered in paint and illegible, 1-55g drum of <br /> bondo dust label was missing the start accumulation date. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> • the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> • name and address of generator <br /> • hazardous properties <br /> • physical state <br /> • composition (contents) <br /> • accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the <br /> required information.
