Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />July 31, 2019 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 540 N GRANT ST, STOCKTON <br /> Facility Name: <br /> ARTS BODY SHOP <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 102 CCR 66262.11 Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATIONS: According to Arturo Sanchez, Owner, rags contaminated with paint, sanding dust, and old paint <br />waste is thrown away into the trash. <br />REGULATION: Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste will be <br />managed. Provide hazardous waste determination information if the contaminated rags, sanding dust and paint are <br />deemed non-hazardous. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br />OBSERVATION: Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of waste acetone were not found on site. <br />REGULATION: Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and <br />all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for <br />review. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain <br />them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br />OBSERVATION: Copies of consolidated manifest for the disposal of waste acetone were not found on site. <br />REGULATION: Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting <br />procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all disposal receipts for the last three years, maintain them on <br />site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Page 4 of 6 <br />FA0025405 PR0544700 SC002 07/31/2019 <br />EHD 22-01 Rev. 09/27/2018 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br />1868 E.
