The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for VALLEY AUTO RESTORATIONS as of December05 , 2018 . <br /> Open violations from June 20 , 2018 inspection <br /> Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste . <br /> Several hazardous waste containers were observed without a proper label . <br /> Used oil storage area : <br /> - One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil was observed with an illegible label . The name and address of <br /> the generator , the hazardous properties , and the accumulation start date were not readable. In addition , the <br /> contents were incorrectly labeled and the drum was missing the accumulation start date . <br /> - One blue 55 gallon steel drum labeled waste oil was observed with an illegible label . The name and address of the <br /> generator was not readable . In addition , the drum was missing the physical state and the accumulation start date . <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil was observed with an illegible label . <br /> -One white 5 gallon plastic bucket containing used oil and used oil filters was observed with no hazardous waste <br /> label . <br /> Work shop area: <br /> -One 55 gallon steel trash can containing bondo dust was observed with no hazardous waste label . <br /> -One drip pan containing used oil was observed with no hazardous waste label . <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information : <br /> - the words " Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> - composition (contents ) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information . <br /> Violation #608 - Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters . <br /> One white 5 gallon plastic bucket was observed containing used oil and used oil filters that were not completely <br /> drained . The bucket was open and did not have a label . <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil , stored in a closed , rainproof container, labeled as " drained used <br /> oil filters , " and marked with an accumulation start date . Immediately drain , properly containerize the oil filters and <br /> put a proper lable on the container. Ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way . <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days . It could not be determined how <br /> long the used filters had been at the facility. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy <br /> of the bill of lading to the EHD . <br /> Page 3of3 <br />
