5) Storage and Disposition <br /> The following describes how MRSH will be stored and labeled, the records kept and ultimate dispositon , <br /> 06 <br /> PACKAGING FOR <br /> STORAGE & TRANSPORT 5 gallon buckets with screw top lids . <br /> ■ Labels will be affixed to the 5 gallon bucket at the time the first mercury switch Is <br /> LABELING placed In the bucket. <br /> ■ The label will have the generator name and address, the accumulation start date <br /> and will state "Universal Waste Mercury Switches. <br /> STORAGE ■ Mercury buckets will be stored in the designated hazardous waste location on site. <br /> STORAGE LIMITATION ■ Mercury devices may be legally stored on site for up to 1 year <br /> ■ Upon completion of a mercury bucket, the container will be logged into Onsite's <br /> Facility Database , <br /> MANAGEMENT & ■ This database will be utilized to ensure material Is shipped before the one year <br /> RECOROKEEPING storage date is reached . <br /> r Mercury devices will be shipped to a vendor on the approved vendor list. <br /> ■ Bills of lading will be utilized and maintained on site for five years. <br /> ACCEPTABLE FINAL " Preferably permanently retired in a monitored, secure and retrievable longterm <br /> DISPOSITION mercury storage facility and not recovered for reuse <br /> ■ Mercury Retort <br /> DISPOS1TIoN FACILITY • Waste Management Lamptracker <br /> : . ; : vAll; Ritri ;& .aCbtvrpai=ssVo <br /> R pit s, . . <br /> PACKAGING FOR <br /> STORAGE & TRANSPORT 55 gallon drums, placed on secondary containment pallets . <br /> LABELING Labels will be affixed to the 55 gallon drums, stating "Used Oil — Hazardous Waste" <br /> STORAGE Oils will be placed in the Hazardous Waste Storage area . <br /> STORAGE LIMITATION <br /> • Oils can legally be stored on site depending on generator status for; <br /> Small Quantity Generator : 180 days <br />
