If the wrench <br /> • 1 /8 " Allen Wrench turns 5 degrees or less , the <br /> • 9/64" Allen Wrench primary flapper valve is in the <br /> • Standard Screwdriver locked (open ) position . <br /> r 10 <br /> iVI; E " <br /> a <br /> Primary <br /> Flapper <br /> valve Step 4 : Use a screwdriver to <br /> raise the bottom float. Turn the a <br /> -- Plug & alien wrench 90 degrees coup - <br /> -,.. Test Screw <br /> terclockwise placing the prima - � . <br /> ry flapper valve in the closed <br /> position . <br /> While the flapper is in the <br /> Step 1 : Using the Emco Wheaton A0081 Adapter closed position , move the float <br /> Wrench , remove the cap and adapter. Raise valve up and release . It should rise <br /> assembly out of tank as shown . Use an assistant to and fall smoothly. Do this 34 <br /> hold the valve in position during the test . times to insure proper opera- <br /> tion . <br /> Step 2 : Using a 1 /8" alien <br /> wrench , remove the plug from <br /> the valve . <br /> D <br /> J <br /> 0 <br /> O <br /> F <br /> Step 5 : Remove the screwdriver to release the float. <br /> Rotate the alien wrench to the original position . You <br /> should hear and/or feel the flapper valve relatch back <br /> to the open position . Retest following Step 4 . <br /> Step 6 : Re-insert the alien wrench . Attempt to turn the <br /> 9/64 alien wrench counterclockwise to check if the flap- <br /> F Y per is in the locked position .
