Pollutants in wastewater are <br /> removed,converted or broken down during the treatment process. <br /> Wastewater Treatment Duties: <br /> • Stay within City Permitted Discharge Limitations <br /> • Complete daily monitoring of tank integrity <br /> • Complete daily monitoring of leaks, spills,containment. <br /> • Submit Monthly Self-Monitoring Report to City of Stockton Environmental Control Section. <br /> • Perform daily&weekly bath analyses on Conductivity levels. <br /> • Troubleshoot chemical process control problems&chemical problems. <br /> • Communicates status of testing samples to General Manager. <br /> • Stores hazardous materials in the proper locations and dispose of hazardous waste properly. <br /> • Follows all safety procedures including general site safety rules. <br /> • Share responsibilities with the Chemist. <br /> Safety Training: <br /> • Hazardous Chemical SDS-MSDS <br /> • Emergency Response <br /> • Emergency Action Plan <br /> • Alarm Systems <br /> • Fire Extinguisher <br /> • Procedures for reporting emergencies <br /> • First Aid <br /> • Forklifts <br /> • Lifting—Back Protection <br /> • Lockout—Tagout <br /> • Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) <br /> • Worksite Warning Signs and labels <br /> • Sludge Discharge Control Plan <br /> • Handling Hazardous Materials <br /> • Hazardous Communication program <br /> • Chemical spills/Clean up <br /> • Chemical waste disposal <br /> • Site-Specific Chemical training & Flow Monitoring <br />
