The generator of >1000kg/mo, who does not receive a copy of the <br /> manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility within 35 days of the <br /> date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter shall contact the transporter and/or the owner or <br /> operator of the facility to determine the status of the waste. If the generator did not receive a copy of <br /> the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the <br /> generator's waste was submitted within 60 days (45 days for generators >1000 kg/mo) from the date <br /> that the hazardous waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit to DTSC a <br /> legible copy of the manifest, with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of <br /> delivery. Within 30 days,July 1, 2010, provide this office with copies of all signed manifests <br /> for the previous 3 years or copies of reports filed with the DTSC, <br /> Violation # 63-Failed to keep a copy of the consolidated manifest for 3 years 25160.2 HSC. <br /> At time of inspection, copies of consolidated manifests, for the previous 3 years could not be provided. <br /> Hazardous waste generators must maintain signed copies of consolidated manifests for 3 years and <br /> have them readily available for review. <br /> Within 30 days,July 1, 2010, submit copies of all consolidated hazardous waste manifests <br /> for the previous 3 years to this office. <br /> Violation #79-Failed to store Universal Waste (UW) lamps in a closed container and in a <br /> manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment 66273.33(b) CCR: <br /> At time of inspection, several lamps, including 7 4-ft lamps, and 3 6-ft lamps, stored next to the lamp <br /> storage boxes in the electrical room, 2 lamps stored under the stairwell in the electrical room, and 1 <br /> lamp stored in the trash can in the building services cage, were seen improperly stored. <br /> Immediately, store all universal waste lamps pursuant to 66273.33(b) CCR for future <br /> storage. <br /> Violation # 83-Failed to label UW to identify type of UW 66273.34 CCR. <br /> At time of inspection, waste alkaline batteries and waste lamps were not labeled pursuant to <br /> EHD Inspector Received 4 <br />
