2 .b. This poultry farm will not involve a significant amount of <br /> grading because all of the needed facilities for the proposed <br /> use are already existing on the site. <br /> 2.c. The reestablishment of this poultry farm is not considered a <br /> conversion of prime agricultural land because the use was <br /> previously existing on the site. <br /> 3 .a. & b. According to the Natural Diversity Data Base, there are <br /> no threatened or endangered species of plants or animals on <br /> this site. Nor is the site known to contain habitat that <br /> would support such species. <br /> 4 .a. The operation of the poultry farm will be subject to <br /> compliance with applicable local and state regulations. Those <br /> regulations cover factors Q. the operation that could lead to <br /> the creation of . objectionable odors. odors, therefore, are <br /> not expected to have a significant, adverse impact on the area <br /> around the proposed poultry farm. odors associated with the <br /> normal operation of the poultry farm are addressed by the <br /> County's Right to Farm ordinance. <br /> 13 .b. The proposed use is not expected to result in any significant <br /> land use conflicts with existing land uses in the area because <br /> it is an agricultural use proposed within an agricultural <br /> area. The design of the poultry farm and its adherence to <br /> local and State regulations regarding the operation of a <br /> poultry - farm are expected to keep any potential adverse <br /> impacts to a less than significant level. <br /> Initial Study (Rev:01/91) <br />
