Response to comment #8:
Please refer to Details 1 & 2 on sheet G4.0 where the vacuum supply and
communication components are now identified on the plans. Please note that the
vacuum supply and communication components are also shown on sheet G12.2 which
is referenced on these same details and has not changed from the last submittal
Comment #9:
Per your response #17 all piping cross overs will be a minimum of 12 inches, please
confirm that such cross over distance will be maintained through the entire piping
layout
Response to comment #9:
Please refer to revised sheet G1.0 where the revised fuel-piping layout clearly shows
the cross over distance maintained throughout the entire layout. Detail callouts
referencing the required vertical and horizontal crossover clearances are located at all
critical transitions
Comment #10:
Drawing G7,1, Fe Petro leak detector is listed under VMI schedule and Phil-Tite
components are listed under OPW schedule, please correct as appropriate
Response to comment #10:
Regarding the Fe Petro Leak Detectors,
• Please refer to revised sheet G7.1 where the Fe Petro leak detectors have been
removed from the Vaporless Manufacturing Schedule;
• Please refer to revised sheet G7.0 where the leak detectors have been relocated
to the Fe Petro Schedule;
Regarding the Phil-rite Components listed under the OPW Schedule, this schedule has
been renamed to "OPW/ Phil-Tite Schedule" to allow for multiple manufacturers in this
schedule while still maintaining the labeling sequence for the Item numbers.
Comment #11:
Drawing G12.1, all vacuum zone terminations must be shown for all piping inside under
dispenser containments(UDCs), identify all provisions for communication testing at
each vacuum zone termination (UDCs, sumps, vent sumps, chase piping, etc.), provide
a legend for any symbols(like valves) being utilized. On this drawing several vacuum
hoses terminate without any apparent valves or penetrations they should be going
through. Drawing G5.0 doesn't depict vacuum communication provisions for UDCs or
piping. Also, it is EHD s understanding that Phil-Tice spill containers are proposed,
however OPW spill containers are included on this drawing (OPW spill containers are
also shown on G4.1 and several other drawings), please clarify and correct as
appropriate.
