Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton , California, 95205 <br /> SUBJECT: Remedial Action Plan <br /> 729 North Central Avenue <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Mrs. Manzo: <br /> In accordance with your request and authorization , CVE Demolition , Inc. , has prepared this <br /> Remedial Action Plan (RAP) for the above-referenced site. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject site location and vicinity are presented in Figure 1 (Vicinity Map). The site consists of <br /> lots 12, 13, and 14 and all that certain portion of lot 15 lying easterly of the line running from a point <br /> 1 .25 feet westerly of the westerly line of lot 14 measured along the south side of 81 Street to <br /> appoint 6. 31 feet westerly of the westerly line of lot 14 measured along the south line of said lot 15 , <br /> all in block 13. The above described property being all of lots 12 , 13, and 14 and a strip of the <br /> easterly side of lot 15 ; said strip being 1 .25 feet wide on the south side of west 8t' Street and 6. 31 <br /> feet wised on the north side of alley, all in block 13 in the city of Tracy, according to the official map <br /> or plat thereof, filed for record June 29, 1892 in Book of Maps and Plats , Vol. 2 , Page 63, San <br /> Joaquin County of Records. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> On May 4, 2018, Technicon was present, along with a San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) staff, following the removal of a 100-gallon kerosene underground storage tank <br /> (UST) . The UST had been removed prior to Technicon's arrival on site. One soil sample was <br /> collected two feet beneath the UST location at six feet below ground surface. The soil sample <br /> collected during this investigation was collected by use of a slide hammer into a clean stainless- <br /> steel tube. After sampling , the ends of the sample tube were covered with Teflon® film , capped with <br /> plastic end caps, labeled, placed into a plastic bag and sealed . The sample was then placed in an <br /> ice chest cooled with synthetic ice for delivery to the analytical laboratory for chemical analysis. <br />
