SAN J 0 A Q U 1 N Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y 1 Iii <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> D&D LIFT LLC 3820 RHONDA WAY, TRACY November 01, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed in the parking area for lift trucks located at the north side of the <br /> facility: <br /> -One lift truck with a hydraulic cylinder actively leaking oil onto the asphalt. <br /> -Multiple oil stains located throughout the parking area. <br /> The following were observed inside the main shop: <br /> -One 400 gallon tank with hydraulic oil observed with hydraulic oil accumulating on top of the tank. <br /> -One 400 gallon tank with motor oil observed with motor oil accumulating on top of the tank. <br /> -Multiple oil stains observed on the floor of the shop. <br /> -One bag of grease on the floor of the shop. <br /> -Two trash cans with used oil accumulating inside it. <br /> The following were observed in the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One 1,000 gallon used oil tank observed with stains on and near the surrounding area. <br /> -One trash can with used oil accumulating on the bottom of it. <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum with used diesel observed with accumulating diesel on top of the lid. <br /> -One red 55 gallon drum with waste antifreeze observed with waste antifreeze residue on top of lid. <br /> -Used oil and used absorbent found underneath on the ground in the hazardous waste storage area. <br /> -One work bench observed with used oil accumulating on top of it found next to hazardous waste storage area. <br /> The following were observed on the parking area for damaged fork lifts located on the south side of the facility: <br /> -One heavy oil stain observed on the asphalt found near entrance to the facility. <br /> -Heavy oil stains observed near blue lift truck near manholes leading to oil water separator. <br /> -Heavy oil stains observed near one white 5 gallon bucket with used oil. <br /> -Multiple heavy oil stains observed on the asphalt. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean all stains, leaks and accumulating hazardous waste. Manage the waste <br /> according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste.
