Site visits and review of databases, historical site photos, <br /> and county records of land use provided no evidence of existing underground storage tanks or <br /> other subsurface structures. Therefore, a full geophysical survey was not within the scope of this <br /> PEA. A utility clearance survey was conducted prior to the subsurface investigation at the Site. <br /> 1.3 PEA REPORT FORMAT <br /> This PEA Report is organized in general accordance with the format presented in Chapter 3 of <br /> DTSC's PEA Guidance Manual. This PEA Report contains the following sections: <br /> • Section 1 presents an introduction and summary of the PEA objectives, scope of work, <br /> and the format of this report. <br /> • Section 2 presents a description of the Site. <br /> • Section 3 includes Site history and background information. <br /> • Section 4 defines the apparent problem. <br /> • Section 5 contains a description of the Site's environmental setting. <br /> • Section 6 presents a description of sampling activities and results. <br /> • Section 7 includes the human health screening evaluation. <br /> • Section 8 presents the ecological screening evaluation. <br /> • Section 9 presents community profile information and the public participation plan <br /> implementation. <br /> • Section 10 includes a summary of Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) measures. <br /> • Section 11 describes Health and Safety Plan implementation. <br /> • Section 12 summarizes variances from the approved PEA Work Plan and addendum. <br /> • Section 13 presents conclusions and recommendations of the PEA. <br /> Section 14 lists references cited in this document. <br /> 1-4 URS CORPORATION <br /> PAPEA Locke ford\R eport\Locke ford Report Rev.doc <br />
