San Joaquin County <br /> September 12,2006 <br /> Upon collection of the samples, the remaining borehole annulus will be backfilled with neat cement <br /> in accordance with approved method (i.e. tremmie pipe) and completed with concrete slurry to the <br /> surface to match surrounding surfaces. <br /> Chemical Analyses: Selected soil and water samples will be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons(TPH)as gasoline,TPH as diesel,and volatile organic compounds by EPA test method <br /> 8260B. <br /> Soil and Water Disposal: Soil cuttings, equipment wash and rinse water will be stored onsite in <br /> labeled DOT-approved drums pending analytical results. <br /> Site Investigation Report <br /> After the analytical results are received, an investigation report will be prepared and will include the <br /> following: <br /> • A summary of the site background and history, <br /> • Descriptions of the drilling and soil sampling methods, <br /> • Tabulated soil and groundwater results, <br /> • A site map showing the boring location, <br /> • Analytical reports and chain-of-custody documentation, <br /> • Boring logs. <br /> • Soil and water disposal methods,and <br /> • Conclusions and recommendations. <br /> SCHEDULE AND CLOSING <br /> Bay plans conducting the drilling on October 11,2006. We anticipate that the work will be completed <br /> in one day.
