Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152). To schedule an appointment, please call (209)468-3420. <br /> Documents provided during inspection: Return to compliance certification, modified contingency plan, hazardous <br /> waste label, minimum hazardous waste labeling requirements sheet, free cupa classes flier <br /> Waste streams found: used brake fluid, metal fines, battery cores, soiled rags, used filters, oily solids, used <br /> metal oil filters <br /> The following minor violations were corrected on site: <br /> Minor violation 1- <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan was not posted at the facility. <br /> -Inspector provided modified contingency plan to operator. Operator filled out modified contingency plan on site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and <br /> the telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> Minor violation 2- <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed in the hazardous <br /> waste storage area: <br /> -One 15-gallon container with oily solids observed with non-secure lid. <br /> -One 15-gallon container with metal fines observed with non-secure lid. <br /> -One 15-gallon container with used brake fluid observed with non-secure lid. <br /> Note: Operator secured lid on all three containers while inspector was on site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> FA0018042 PR0526647 SCO01 09/10/2020 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.8/11/2020 Page 6 of 7 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
