You indicted that the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was not in a position to approve the report, but rather the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) should provide over site and approval for clean closure of the subject area. I did speak with Wendy Cohen of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board concerning this issue, and she agreed to receive a copy of the report for review (ref. attached letter, dated, March 27, 2003). During the last week in April, I again spoke with Ms. Cohen. She indicated that, upon your agreement with the findings in the report, she would also be in concurrence. In order to facilitate in gaining agreement, I have attached a simple statement of concurrence to be signed and forwarded to the (CVRWQCB) for signature. We would also be happy in receiving any other form of signed correspondence if your office is not comfortable in signing the attachment.
