Irvin uller
4230 Undine Road,Stanton,CA 95206
P.U_Box 1465
French Camp,CA 95231-1465
USA
Home Phone 209 4645989
Donna Heram,Director
Environmental Heath District
San Joaquin County
RE: Planning Commission Application PA0500729
May 22,2006
In doing research for this application we have found that Olivera Foods has had compliance
problems in both Santa Clara County and Merced County. When things get real bad they just
walked away and left behind a total mess.
Olivera Foods is presently operating a chicken farm on Bowman Road in French Camp. A
survey of this operation leads me to believe there is no way it can be in compliance with
environmental health, which begs answers to the following questions.
1. How long are you going to let it continue in its present condition?
2. If it is closed down for not being in compliance who is responsible for the clean up?
3. If it is sold, who is responsible for clean up of the contaminated soil and decaying buildings?
4. Is there a way to put a restriction on the sale of the property to be sure we, as taxpayers will
not be responsible for the clean W.
5. Is a Manure Management plan required for this operation? If so,where do I get a copy of it?
I believe you should be able to answer these questions within 10 days. If you cannot, please
advise me when I can expect an answer.
IRVIN MULLER
cc:
Kerry Sullivan,Planning Department Air Pollution Control District
Scott Hudson,Agriculture Department Public Works Department
County Supervisors Districts 1,2,3,4,and 5
