The bin has a lid but it does not properly close. <br /> -Two 1 gallon containers of by-lux bright(safety) red were seen, wet, open behind the storage shed. <br /> -One coffee can marked "paint thinner", open, with liquid inside seen stored under a piece of equipment near the <br /> storage shed. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close <br /> these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 404 CCR 66265.174 Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly. Hazardous waste container storage and transfer areas shall <br /> be inspected weekly for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by <br /> corrosion and other factors. Immediately begin conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste <br /> containers at this facility. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 407 CCR 66261.7(f) Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> At time of iinspection: <br /> White and Blue Poly drums, 30-55g, that once held pesticides were seen throughout the property. Some were cut in <br /> half with free standing liquid in them. Two were seen in the retention pond. <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were <br /> emptied and managed within one year of being emptied.
