Box 3048
Portland, OR 97208
Dear Mr. McCormick:
COMMENTS TO AQUIFER PUMP TESTING REPORT
MCCORMICK & BAXTER, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
The Department of Health Services (DHS) received the Aquifer
Testing Report on September 28, 1988 . DHS staff have completed
their review and have made several comments (attached) . The
Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) will submit comments
at a later date.
Before the State can accept the findings of the Aquifer Testing
Report, McCormick and Baxter (M&B) must adequately respond to
both DHS and RWQCB comments. DHS is aware of M&B's financial
situation, but believes that M&B should commit to a date for
responding to this letter. A schedule for responses to DHS
comments should be received in our office within 14 days receipt
of this letter.
If you should have any questions, please contact Jeff Van Slooten
at (916) 924-2130.
r
Sincerely,
Val F.- Siebal
Section Chief
Region 1
Enclosure
cc: (see next page)
