SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> CCU 1T <br /> Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name and Address: DESTINATIONS COMMUNITY, 519 JUBILEE WAY, STOCKTON 95209 <br /> #14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Operator should keep a test kit on site, to be able to test the water chemicals daily and record them, <br /> provide test kit within two weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine,pH,and <br /> cyanuric acid(if used)at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br /> type. Chlorine test kits shall be capable of testing for free and total chlorine,so that combined chlorine concentrations can be determined. <br /> (CCR 65529) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS:No records of chemical levels kept on site. Operator must test pH and Chlorine daily, and cyanuric acid <br /> once per month. Start testing chemicals daily and recording results today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Bottom of pool was accumulating dirt and debris. I noticed bugs that sunk to the bottom at well. Clean <br /> Today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is3 float valve assemblies missing, replace them within two weeks. <br /> There is 1 broken skimmer basket, replace within two weeks. <br /> There are chlorine tablets placed in the skimmer baskets. Remove them and start using the automatic chlorinator today. <br /> There are dead bugs floating, and accumulating in the skimmer baskets, clean today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31366) <br /> #27 Pool Equipment Room <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There are a few leaks on the pool filters as well as a black colored mold growing on the walls.The mold <br /> is causing a musty odor in the pump room, clean within two weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep ancillary facilities well maintained. (CCR 65535)All filters, valves,pumps,strainers <br /> and equipment shall be readily accessible for repair and replacement.
