There must be at least one <br /> emergency coordinator on sii a or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following <br /> information must be posted b V a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire <br /> extinguishers, spill control eq jipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, <br /> unless the facility has a direc alarm. Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the required <br /> information by a phone. Sub it a corrective action statement to the EHD once this has been completed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests f r the disposal of hazardous waste for used oil and used antifreeze were not found on <br /> site. Hazardous waste gener tors shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all <br /> receipts used in a consolidatE d manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for <br /> review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and <br /> submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to eep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste di posal records for used oil and antifreeze were not found on site. In addition, a <br /> company comes and services the forklifts. The company takes any waste generated(used oil filters, used oil)back <br /> with them. No disposal recor s from the company were found on site during the inspection. Hazardous waste <br /> generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procadure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility n t maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Oily staining was observed th ughout the facility. A forklift was observed leaking antifreeze. Facilities shall be <br /> maintained and operated to m nimize the possibility of a fire,explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br /> surface water which could thrE sten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the stains, and manage <br /> the waste according to Title 2 hazardous waste regulations.
