Title: Waste Management Program CEHS-0036 <br /> Warehouse and Trailer Shop Facilities Page 5 of 20 <br /> Approved by:Senior Vice President Compliance&Administration Issue No.4 <br /> Date:Aug.2014 <br /> from crude or synthetic oils that are used as fuels(e.g.,gasoline,jet fuel and diesel fuel)or as <br /> cleaning agents or solvents(e.g., naphtha or mineral spirits). <br /> Waste—A material that is discarded, is being accumulated and stored prior to being discarded, or <br /> a material that is no longer suitable for its intended use. <br /> Waste Determination—The method utilized to classify a waste in order to determine the <br /> regulatory requirements for management and disposal. <br /> Waste Profile—a documented characterization of a waste based on physical properties, <br /> composition,and hazardous properties developed to provide the necessary information to process <br /> the waste in full compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations at a treatment, <br /> storage,disposal,or recycling facility. <br /> 5. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 5.1. Environmental Compliance Program Manager <br /> 5.1.1. The Environmental Compliance Program Manager holds the responsibility for <br /> implementing and maintaining the Waste Management Program. <br /> 5.1.1.1. At a minimum,an annual review will be performed and documented. <br /> 5.1.2. The Environmental Compliance Program Manager,or his/her designee, is <br /> responsible for review and approval of Waste Determinations, Waste Profiles; <br /> and Waste Container Labels; <br /> 5.1.3. The Environmental Compliance Program Manager will: <br /> 5.1.3.1. Review notifications of Generator Status Change received from facilities <br /> and initiate formal notification to regulatory agencies as appropriate. <br /> 5.1.3.2. Coordinate updates to the Waste Matrix; <br /> 5.1.3.3.Coordinate waste minimization efforts; and <br /> 5.1.3.4. Coordinate completion and submission of Biennial Hazardous Waste <br /> Reports and Exception Reports. <br /> 5.2. Vice President of Compliance <br /> 5.2.1. The Vice President of Compliance is the contact for correspondence with <br /> regulatory agencies.All regulatory communications must be directed to the Vice <br /> President of Compliance in Keene,New Hampshire. <br /> 5.3.
