Containers will be inspected by C&S in accordance with the requirements <br /> presented in Appendix Q. <br /> 8.5.2. C&S procedure requires that weekly inspections of containers of RCRA <br /> regulated waste,Universal Waste and State regulated waste located in each <br /> Central Waste Storage Area(s)and Accumulation Area(s)be conducted. <br /> Weekly Inspection Checklist(s)for Regulated Waste are provided in <br /> Appendices X and Y respectively. <br /> 8.5.3. C&S procedure requires that an inspection of the loading area for RCRA <br /> Hazardous Waste be conducted on the day of each shipment of hazardous <br /> waste. An Inspection Checklist is provided in Appendix Z. <br /> 8.5.4. Inspection of Aboveground and Underground Storage Tanks used for <br /> Petroleum Products are performed in conformance with the C&S Tank <br /> Inspection Program, CEHS-0037. <br /> 8.5.4.1. Additional state-specific requirements are included in State <br /> Specific Appendices. <br /> 8.6. Pre-transport Requirements for Off-Site Shipment <br /> 8.6.1. Waste Characterization <br /> 8.6.1.1. An initial characterization must be done for each waste stream <br /> generated prior to off-site shipment. <br /> 8.6.1.2. Hazardous Waste Determinations will follow the method set forth <br /> in EPA(RCRA)regulation 40 CFR§262.11. <br /> 8.6.1.3. A waste determined to be Hazardous by the method set forth in <br /> EPA(RCRA)regulation 40 CFR §262.11 will be managed by <br /> C&S as RCRA regulated under the requirements presented in <br /> Appendix Q. <br /> 8.6.1.4. A waste determined NOT to be Hazardous by the method set <br /> forth in EPA(RCRA)regulation 40 CFR§262.11, will be further <br /> characterized following state regulations to determine whether <br /> they are subject to certain management requirements. <br /> 8.6.1.5. Each characterization will be documented on a Waste <br /> Determination Summary Sheet provided in Appendix T. <br /> 8.6.1.6.
