PERSONNEL TRAINING <br /> 10.1.Personnel training will be provided in accordance with the requirements presented in <br /> Appendix Q. <br /> 10.2.C&S Procedure requires that employees who have been assigned responsibilities <br /> under this Program will attend a site-specific training program. <br /> 10.3.Associates who manage waste materials prior to transport will be trained within 90 <br /> days of employment or assignment of hazardous materials duties. Prior to training, <br /> employees will be supervised by an authorized trained employee. <br /> 10.3.1. Re-training will occur annually. <br /> 10.4.Waste Management training will be documented as follows: <br /> 10.4.1. The name and job title of each employee involved and trained in waste <br /> management; <br /> 10.4.2. A written job description for each position involving waste management. <br /> This description must include the requisite skill,education or other <br /> qualifications,and duties of facility personnel assigned to each position; <br /> 10.4.3. A written description of the type and amount of both introductory and <br /> continuing training provided to employees; and <br /> 10.4.4. Records documenting that training has been provided to, and completed <br /> by,facility personnel. <br /> 10.5.Employees who prepare hazardous materials for transport by performing packaging, <br /> placarding,marking, labeling, selecting shipping names, preparing shipping <br /> documents and offering waste for transport will additionally attend DOT training <br /> within 90 days of employment or assignment of transportation duties. Prior to <br /> training, employees will be supervised by an employee with current training <br /> certification.
