• 22751/23751 E. Harney Ln. (adjacent to west of Site). In October 2013, a
pole-mounted transformer was shot and spilled 50 gallons of non-PCB
mineral oil on the ground. The spill was contained and cleaned up.
Based on the nature of this incident, no impact to the subject Site is
anticipated.
Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer on August 2, 2020
for the Site and nearby facilities with hazardous materials inventories. No such
facilities were identified within one-quarter mile of the Site.
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
maps of Nitrate - Land Use Data and DBCP- Land Use Data dated February 20,
2019. According to the nitrate map (Plate 5), three wells within a two-mile radius
of the subject Site have been tested; nitrate was detected in all three wells at a
concentration between 0.1 and 5.0 mg/L-N. Two wells within a two-mile radius
of the Site were tested for DBCP (Plate 6); no DBCP was detected. The
Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate is 10 mg/L-N;
the MCL for DBCP is 0.2 ug/L.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
Live Oak contacted the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office
regarding agricultural use of the site. According to Jessica Fowler, Deputy
Agricultural Commissioner, no chemical use records were located for the Site for
the past five years (correspondence, July 16, 2020).
7.4 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources Maps
The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)
Well Finder website was queried on July 19, 2020 for mapped oil or gas wells
within one-quarter mile of the subject Site. No wells were identified within the
search radius.
7.5 National Pipeline Mapping System Database
Live Oak reviewed the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) database on
July 31, 2020 for evidence of hazardous materials pipelines within one-quarter
mile of the Site. According to NPMS, no such pipelines are located within the
search radius. Local pipelines which are not mapped by the NPMS may be
present in the area.
LOGE 20-28 5
